Regardless of a student’s post-secondary pathway, the transferable skills learned in the English classroom will prove to be invaluable.

For students interested in the Workplace Pathway, the skills gained in the English classroom will help them communicate effectively with co-workers and clients. Literacy skills will also help them communicate their ideas in written format.

For those students interested in the College and/or Joint Pathway, there are many programs available for those who wish to pursue further studies in English. These programs include, but are not limited to: Advertising and Marketing, Behavioural Science, Broadcasting (Radio and Television), Business, Child and Youth Care, Community Development and Social Innovation, Community and Justice Services, Creative Advertising, Digital Communications, Early Childhood Education, Esthetician, Event and Media Production, Film and Television Production, Flight Services, General Arts and Science, Hairstyling, Hospitality - Hotel and Resorts, Interactive Media Design, Journalism, Law Clerk, Library and Information Technician, Mental Wellness and Addictions Worker, Musical Theatre, Office Administration, Police Foundations, Pre-Media, Public Relations, Recreation and Leisure Services, Social Service, and Theatre Arts - Performance, and Tourism.
