 ESL Corner

Semester 2 is off to a fantastic start in our ESL program! In the ESLAO/BO class, students are expanding their vocabulary about school life, people, and places in the community, with a focus on mastering vowel sounds. ESLCO students are building important skills in paraphrasing, summarizing, and oral communication through both written assignments and class presentations. In ESLDO, students are learning to use transitional words to connect ideas smoothly in their writing. Meanwhile, the ESLEO class has begun reading their class novel and is learning how to properly cite research using MLA format. Our students are working hard and making great progress—thank you for your continued support at home!
